Team Chase was founded in 2008 by the Carlson family in memory of their son Chase.  The mission of the foundation is to support ongoing efforts in the fight against Krabbe Disease, which took the life of their son in 2005, and to support and encourage those who make a difference in the daily lives of people in their community.

Team Chase will strive to honor and support, both financially and relationally, those in the community who demonstrate acts of unconditional love, care for their community, striving for excellence and perseverance in the face of difficulty.

In addition to funding research related to Krabbe Disease, the foundation will provide grants for new initiatives, special projects, and general support to people and programs in Orange County, California.
